Faith Levine
is a dance teacher and choreographer, a personal trainer, and group exercise instructor. Two decades of dance training and five years as a professional dancer have led to a strong emphasis on form and posture within her fitness classes. Faith believes that if we diligently practice perfect form throughout our workouts this will carry over into other parts of our lives, improving posture overall, strengthening the core muscles, decreasing back pain and injury, and leading to enhanced body image by carrying ourselves better.

Faith strives to construct workouts that are efficient, work the whole body, are challenging and energizing, and improve the mind-body connection.

A “gym rat” herself, Faith knows that to stay fit and to get fitter you must constantly challenge your body in new ways, which is one reason she loves taking her workouts outside in the summer and using the natural surroundings for inspiration.

In addition to dance Faith has a strong background in Pilates, Yoga, strength training, running, hiking, and dance conditioning for non-dancers. Faith is a certified personal trainer through International Sports Science Association (ISSA), a certified group exercise instructor through 24 Hour Fitness, and holds a BFA with a degree in Modern Dance from The University of Utah. Currently, she works as a personal trainer at East Portland Community Center and teaches group exercise classes at 24 Hour Fitness and Matt Dishman Community Center.
